Meet The Grey Wanderer

[vc_row][vc_column][trx_widget_aboutme signature=”379″][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]I thought retirement would be difficult, but it has been remarkably easy. For many years I believed leaving the world of business behind would be difficult, as it has shaped so much of my life. However, just like the grey in my hair, I’ve learned to embrace the freedom.

Writing has become somewhat of a passion for me during retirement, which is why my daughter suggested I create a website basically offering my views on the world, business advice and tips on how to deal with retirement life, like me.

As you can imagine, retirement has granted me the freedom to think a lot more than I would probably like, so this blog provides me with an opportunity to push all those thoughts out there, so they’re not stuck in my brain – meaning I can sleep a whole lot better at night, which means my wife sleeps better, too.

Why the Grey Wanderer?

You might be wondering why I coined my blog the Grey Wanderer. That’s because, of course, I have plenty of grey hair on the top of my head, and I’m finally trying to find my place in the world outside of business, which is totally new to a workaholic like me.

I may have built up my fair share of wisdom over the years, but there are still some things I’m not all that clued up on right now, such as whether to relocate abroad, move to a different city or just move house in the same city. Travel has become a passion of my whole family over the years, as we constantly travel around the world – which I like to call wandering, because we also head off into weird and exciting places. So the Grey Wanderer just felt appropriate for so many reasons.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
